I've put a lot of old deviations into my storage. If you ever want me to unstore it so you can save it, just feel free to let me know!

My future plans for art are going in a strange direction. I want to do art as a career, but I also do not want to. I think I shall train more and come back to this idea in the future ^^

Spring Cleaning

1 min read
Hi all!

I'm going to do some spring cleaning for my gallery so I will be deleting a lot of old art or just stashing it. If you have something favorite'd and you don't want to lose access to the picture, You can feel free to download it ^^

I will leave some stuff up for maybe 2-3 weeks before I start taking stuff down/stashing it.

Hey everybody!

So I've finally decided my prices for commissions, and yes while you think they may be expensive, there are good reasons for such. For example, I will work on a sketch for approximately 30 minutes to an hour, but that would only be 5 dollars for that hour ( or it'd be roughly 10 dollars per hour if I can do a sketch in 30 minutes ). So if you guys think about it, it's not that bad.

The reason that I am not taking points is because I need money to help out a friend right now. I also need to earn enough for rent ( ~$900 ) so that my friend can (finally) move out. I hope people are interested, even if it is just one sketch at a time.

Prices:

REGULAR: $150
Bliss: Star Guardian Lux by CindyTrieu

BACKGROUND PRICES
SIMPLE: +$5
FULL: +$50

All couples are double the price for the base prices. You do not have to pay extra for the background.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
I will send you paypal information if you are interested.

So, haven't made a journal in... over a year XD It's about time I say hello to everyone who watches me and to let you all know that I am certainly alive still La la la la
If you guys have noticed, I have been submitting art recently, and a lot! I've been improving over the years while not active ( sorry!! college kidnapped me ) and I want to catch up with all of you!! Tell me how you've been, or scold me for not coming online, whatever you wanna say, go for it. :happybounce:  I'm excited to get into the community again!

For those of you who are going to ask, now I'm in university, studying computer science and mathematics. That sounds super scary, I know! But this is going to be well worth it since I want to become a game designer. I've been improving my art skills for concept art, tilesets, spriting, and everything else. I'm slowly getting better, and I think I'll continue doing these things. The next thing I'm moving onto is 3D Modeling, and I'd love to show you guys what I'm doing! =) Soon my friends, soon.

Also, is there anybody interested in commissions? I want to get some practice hahaha. And I mean a lot of practice. Just let me know if you are interested please! It can be points or paypal, but I would prefer paypal so that I can buy a new tablet ^^

This year's Anime-Expo was the first time I have attended! I've been to one other convention before, but this was the first actual anime convention for me. It was really exciting, and seeing all the awesome cosplays, the cool booths, and the many honored guests was so thrilling!

The first day was pretty good; I explored the exhibit hall and went to the artist alley, trying to find my favorite artist :iconjohnsu: . To my dismay, I couldn't find him on the first day! Sadface. So I went back to my auntie's house that day, and looked up the booth he was at. I found out I passed him several times OTL;; But on the bright side, I met various other artists there, like :iconreirei18: :iconyuumei: MyRollingStar :icondariendoodles: and many many others! I was quite impressed with the various artist works outside of prints, especially the cute plushies hahaha.

So, the second day, first thing I did was visit JohnSu's booth. And HAH! I found him! In person, he is actually REALLY cute xD Hahaha. Like dorky cute! I bought a few posters, but he didn't have any bags/print protectors. So, I put the posters in the biggest bag I had, but one got creased, nooooooo. So I went back to complain, hahaha. But I just really wanted to talk to him, and my friends called me a fangirl. xD The second day was also the day I bought my first set of copic markers! I am really happy that I bought them because they are the limited anniversary edition!! The colors are beautiful, and I can't wait to buy more! To test them out, I drew the Hibiscus picture I currently have in my gallery. Here fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201… . I started drawing in pen, but then I switched to a pencil as soon as I got back to my auntie's. I think it was pretty good for a first piece! The Japanese ladies who were professional manga artists blew me away and inspired me a lot hahaha. I watched their techniques closely ( I know, creepy xP ) and it paid off! After finishing Hibiscus, I drew a picture for JohnSu because he didn't have any bags! >.>

The third day, I brought JohnSu the picture, and he laughed hahaha. He also appreciated it ( or at least I think so! ). I went around to various panels/workshops to find out they were already full xD Just my luck. So instead I walked around for awesome cosplays, watched people play ninja, played with my copics, and hanged out with my friends. I finished my cat girl piece ( unclemanladything.deviantart.c… ) that day, and I was pretty happy with the outcome.

I couldn't attend the last day because my dad was being a jerk, but, hopefully next year I get to go alone without him always yelling at me.

I can't wait to attend again! And I really want to set up my own booth in the future, artist alley or not, haha. But, I know for sure I am going to cosplay next time, hahaha. I just need to look into making props... teehee.
